Community Projects

Daybreak has engaged in various other humanitarian, community projects over the past ten years. In 2007 we started a Community School at Mapepe. This school later became the Mapepe Primary School in 2012 and, then, later became the Daybreak Christian School at Sonadi compound (2015). In 2011 we assisted the District Commissioners of Kafue and Lusaka West Districts in distributing 60 tons of maize seed to farmers when their crops were destroyed by parasites (maize worm).

We have also assist in drilling shallow bore holes with a light-weight well drilling machine. And, we have been involved in building houses for widows in Sonadi compound. In 2011 we started a Demonstration Farm in Kafue District (Chinyanya) as part of our Agricultural Training Program. The Demonstration Farm served as an extension program to train young men how to start small farms using drip-irrigation. Daybreak also distributes clothes to children in Zambia. These are just some of the additional humanitarian works that Daybreak has been engaged in over the past ten years.

Daybreak has partnered with "Outside In" which is a ministry in the USA that provides clothes for children in Zambia. Pictured above are two pictures of dresses that were recently donated to Daybreak and distributed to children in Zambia.
