Daybreak Bible College

Daybreak Bible College (DBC) was started for the purpose of training spiritual leaders in holistic ministry (body and spirit). The goal is to empower men and women with the skills necessary to make a difference in their local communities.
The college was started in 2014 and is located on a 50-acre-campus and operates under the registration of Daybreak: Mission of Hope. The college operates in association with Sunset International Bible Institute (SIBI), Lubbock, TX (USA). Dr. David French serves as the Dean of the college. Dennis Sabelo (Zambian national) serves as the Director of the college.
Mission Statement: To develop self-supporting, spiritual leaders who are equipped for holistic, rural ministry.
Students are trained in six basic areas of ministry that are both physical and spiritual in nature (see below). The training program at Daybreak Bible College (DBC) is three-year program in which the practical training is given primary importance.
Academics (classroom) is not the primary focus of DBC; spiritual formation and ministry is the focus. Students spend as much in practical training as they do in the classroom. The goal of DBC is to train spiritual leaders who can make disciples and teach others the life-sustaining skills that they have learned. DBC is not designed to train men for full-time (paid) ministry in churches. Instead, the goal is to train spiritual leaders who are able to provide a good living for their families (as farmers) and teach others how to do the same; and who are able to facilitate spiritual growth in their communities. DBC is dedicated to training men who can make a difference in their communities both spiritually and physically. DBC is not about training churchmen who know little more than how to run a church and conduct worship services on Sunday mornings.
